Chris Cadogan
Chris Cadogan is an experienced educator and school leader committed to education justice, driven by his idealistic commitments and belief in the moral imperative to create equitable learning environments for all students. Rooted in his religious convictions, Chris sees education as a vehicle for social justice, ensuring that every child—regardless of background—has access to dignity, opportunity, and empowerment.

As a student who attended urban schools and later as an educator in these same spaces, Chris has experienced firsthand the disparities that exist within the education system. These experiences shaped his understanding of the systemic barriers that marginalized students and educators face, fueling his scholarship and passion for advocacy and reform.

Determined to make a broader impact, Chris transitioned into school leadership and currently serves as an elementary school principal. Inspired by scholars such as Gloria Ladson-Billings and Muhammad Khalifa, he embraces culturally responsive leadership, advocating for policies and practices that uplift marginalized communities. His work centers on amplifying the voices of Black educators, fostering inclusive school cultures, and advancing equity-driven solutions.

Through his leadership, idealistic commitments, and advocacy, Chris continues to challenge traditional structures and champion transformative change in education.
