Kailyn P. Jones

Kailyn P. Jones is a dedicated educator and advocate with over 15 years of experience advancing equity in public education. With a strong background in both general and special education, she has served as a classroom teacher, instructional leader, and school-based administrator in both Washington, D.C. and Lansing, Michigan.

 

Kailyn holds a Master’s in Special Education from American University and dual Michigan certifications in English and Learning Disabilities. Her work has focused on project-based learning, culturally relevant instruction, and literacy development, alongside leadership in school improvement initiatives and athletic programming. A former DC Teaching Fellow and AmeriCorps member, Kailyn brings a deep commitment to inclusive, student-centered learning and community engagement.
